Hosting a Mirror Mirror spa party is an endeavor bestowed to those that are the fairest of them all. I wish that were true but it was our friends at Fox Home Entertainment that gave us the needed beauty supplies for ensuring the Mirror Mirror spa party went off without a hitch.
In my previous post about the pre-party preparations I was so excited about the June 26th release of Mirror Mirror that I could hardly contain myself.
So what does it take to hold a Mirror Mirror Spa Party?
I have a few tips to make sure a Mirror Mirror Spa Party goes off without a hitch.
Food and Drinks – Stock up on some fantastic food and drinks such as chips, dip, popcorn, candy, cupcakes and more.
Manicure and Pedicure Supplies – Make sure you have a variety of nail colors, supplies and foot spa salts, bath salts or epsom salts. You can also include a variety of lotions and scrubs for feet. My favorite foot soak is the Dr. Teal’s Epsom Salt Foot Soak
Even my youngest wants in on the action
Fun and Games – For my party we had Xbox Kinect games and of course the television and Blu Ray Player. The party always get started with some fun games. My party also had some hula hooping going on. You can also download some fun games for Mirror Mirror such as the Mirror Mirror Word Find —>MMIR_WordFind_Final and the Mirror Mirror Maze –>MMIR_maze_Final. To make it even more fun, I had an egg timer and the first to get the most words in the word find in one minute won a goody bag of goodies in addition to their take home items. For the maze, the first one to finish won a goody bag.
Comfortable Chairs - You can’t watch a decent movie without a lot of comfy chairs, couches and pillows
How was the Movie?
Guest comments about the movie from my sister, Kellie, who attended the party were this:
I loved the costumes they had in the movie and I thought Julia Roberts was great in it. It’s a different side of the story but I thought it was funny!
Another party goer, Susan, stated,
“You don’t want to miss what happens to the dwarfs!”
It was a very wonderful time and after the party everyone was completely exhausted. Just in time to see the fireworks go off in my local town right in the backyard.
So have you seen Mirror Mirror yet? Tell me your thoughts about the movie in the comments below
