Foodie Friday: Three easy smoothie recipes kids will love

Tree Tops brand of apple juice provided me this great list of easy to make and kid friendly smoothies. My kids love smoothies and some things I like to do with smoothies is also to freeze them into popsicles. Whether you are using a Ninja QB1004 Master Prep Pro Food & Drink Mixer, Black or a Vitamix 1782 TurboBlend, 2 Speed, you can get a fantastic smoothie.

SELAH, Wash. (July 18, 2012) – Convenient and kid-friendly, smoothies are ideal fuel for adults and kids alike. They’re also a refreshing summer treat, a nutritious afternoon snack and a great on-the-go breakfast option. Tree Top, producers of apple juice  made with 100 percent USA apples, has compiled a list of smoothie recipes that are easy to make, nutrient-rich and, of course, tasty.

Featuring a variety of flavors, these smoothie recipes include Tree Top’s 100 percent apple juice, which satisfies ½ cup of the daily recommended fruit servings (2 cups) and contains half of the recommended daily value for vitamin C.  Other whole fruits and low-fat dairy options pack a punch of flavor and vitamins.
