Each year, SEA LIFE Grapevine selects a group of Young Environmentalists that share the aquarium’s passion for conservation, the environment and the creatures that call our oceans home. Made up of ten kids, ages 8 to 12, the group of Young Environmentalists get to participate in a number of fun activities and exclusive events both at the aquarium and around the area.
From behind-the-scenes education to lake cleanups and spreading the word about World Oceans Day, the Young Environmentalists are not only passionate about sea creatures but believe they can make an impact on our environment right here in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Young Environmentalists will receive a free SEA LIFE annual pass, plus one for a family member.
To enter, kids must draw a picture or create a 30 to 60-second video that shows what they can do to protect the environment. Entries must be submitted by August 5 via the SEA LIFE Grapevine Facebook page or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Winners will be contacted starting August 7. The first Young Environmentalist meeting is Saturday, August 26 at SEA LIFE Grapevine.
