All the rage has centered around the Ford F-150 with the aluminum alloy body and of course thew 2016 Ford GT but that doesn’t mean Ford has created an afterthought with the 2015 Ford F-350. It comes equipped with a powerstroke diesel that makes this particular Ford truly stand out among it’s competitors. We definitely noticed the difference as we took it around Texas back in May to get a good idea of all of the uses of this vehicle. We took it up to the XO Ranch for their annual charity event, Silver Dollar at the Ranch as well as to the DFW National Cemetery to pay tribute to our troops and I can say not only does it perform but it’s also very stylish. Definitely built for the Texas consumer.
It definitely had a quieter engine,Made possible through innovative technologies. The single-wheel model was equipped with an uprated towing package with big wheels and different rear-axle-and-spring setup affected the ride and steering feel. I noticed this when I took it along Northwest Highway in Dallas. This second-generation Power Stroke diesel is essentially an engine so strong that it’s all but identical to the one used in the medium-duty F-450. The interior trim is pretty with the King Ranch brand. The leather, now wearing the King Ranch’s “snake” brand more prominently, looked good, but there was less of it, and sometimes it was used in odd places. Overall we enjoyed this Ford F-350 and the legacy of Ford in continuing to improve upon car and truck technologies.
