The New Year’s Eve Family Celebration package begins on Saturday, December 30 with an afternoon carnival complete with rides, games, and prizes. There will also be holiday activities such as horse-drawn hay rides, cake walks, pie eating contests, face paintings, balloon artists, and more. The day will conclude with live music and s’mores by the resort’s fire pit.
On Sunday, December 31, the celebration will continue with the carnival and festive activities. Sunday evening, guests can enjoy a family-style Texas barbecue dinner followed by a DJ dance party counting down the time until the New Year. At midnight, the resort will provide a champagne or apple cider toast, followed by the property’s signature Lost Pines Fireworks Spectacular.
Concluding the New Year’s Eve Family Celebration package, guests can enjoy an expansive holiday breakfast buffet on the morning of January 1. In order to take part in the experience, guests must stay at the property both nights of the package – December 30 and December 31.
There are also plenty of animals that guests can interact with at the Hyatt Regency’s Lost Pines Resort Hooves and Horns program including two Texas Longhorns, an American mustang, miniature horses, goats and alpacas.
