I had lunch today at Pie Five Pizza Co. and I remembered that they had a new dessert. I didn’t have time for dessert though but I heard it’s a monster.
I had their traditional five star pie with all the fixings and that is just $6.99. Added on a brownie and a drink and I had lunch for $9.99 plus tax.
So About that Brownie?!?!
The Monster Brownie is layer upon satisfyingly, sweet layer of yummy goodness with OREO® cookies warmly sandwiched between chocolate brownie and chocolate chip cookie layers—all topped with an icing drizzle. However, early birds get the brownie—this slice of dessert heaven will only be available until Aug. 23.
“The Monster Brownie isn’t for the faint of palate and can easily cause guests to consider starting with desert first,” said Patty Scheibmeir, vice president of R&D and product innovation for Pie Five Pizza Co. “Our guests are going to LOVE it!”
Other sweet treats from Pie Five include the decadent home-baked brownie and cookie pie. Lead Pizza Pie-intist, Patty Scheibmeir, leads pizza Innovation for Rave Restaurant Group, Inc. Scheibmeir honed her pizza chops leading R&D, innovation, and marketing work for companies like Papa Murphy’s, Frito Lay and Applebee’s. The unique Pie Five model allows patrons to top their pizzas any way they want for only $6.99, perfectly baked in 145 seconds in a custom-designed, state-of-the-art oven.
