Nothing makes a quick dinner like eating beans and sausage or as some like to call it Beans and Weenies. I upgraded the traditional recipe and decided to add beans from Bush’s Cocina Latina flavor beans for additional kick with some BBQ sauce and a smoked beef sausage or Johnsonville Beef Hot links. You can use Bush’s Frijoles a La Mexicana beans.
1 Can of Bush’s Cocina Latina Frijoles a La Mexicana
12 to 13 oz of sausage – chopped
1 cup of BBQ Sauce
1/2 cup of water or chicken stock to thin the BBQ sauce
Place sausages and beans in medium saucepan then cook for 2 to 3 minutes, add the BBQ sauce and cook an additional 5 minutes. Add water to thin out the sauce if needed. Once cooked add to plates. This is how easy this recipe is.
