It’s the little things in life that add up and as many of us know when it comes to the end of the month, finding a few extra dollars for a treat can be tough. However, just as the little things add up, the same is true for money making.
There are a number of ways to boost your income little and often and give you those few extra needed dollars that can improve the quality of your life and also lower the level of financial worry. So, here are some great ways to make money on the side.
Advertisements
It might not be something you’ve ever really considered before, but there’s a significant market for people willing to cover their cars with an advertisement. You’re essentially serving as a moving billboard for a company and if you do enough mileage you could earn hundreds a month and in some cases even get a free car to drive. There are a number of variables that need to be considered, such as demographic, location, miles per month etc. However, if you meet these it can be a great way to earn a decent sum.
Mystery Shopper
The mystery shopper is a person who tests the quality and experience of a certain shop, restaurant or other commercial activity. Mystery shoppers go into a shop, purchase an item and report back on the experience, citing certain areas of the whole process. Generally, you’ll be looking out for the helpfulness of the employees, cleanliness, customer service and other areas. The pay can be quite good too and up to $25 an hour. Just be aware you’ll never be asked to pay money upfront if the company is reputable.
Car Parking Space
If you live in a city or somewhere with a shortage of much needed car parking space – why not rent out your home’s frontage to somebody as a car space.
Renting out a car parking space in an enviable place can help you earn hundreds of dollars a month as people fight for spaces and also to avoid parking charges. It’s a simple and easy way to make some cash – just ensure you’ve room for your own car too.
Vending Machine
Owning a vending machine or vending machines can be a great way to earn money on a regular basis. Companies such as Tubz offer people the opportunity to franchise vending machines and sell snacks to the masses. It’s a great way to take advantage of an established business that will offer you money on a regular basis without a significant amount of effort and it can be all done from home.
Stay in Bed
It may seem like an idea from out of space and it sort of is. NASA is paying test subjects $18,000 to stay in bed for 90 days as part of a scientific experiment. Test subjects will lie in a similar position to astronauts in space and monitored for around three months. However, physical activity is not allowed and studies suggest people lose 1-2 per cent of bone mass, as well as have a number of other issues to contend with while taking part. However, you’ll be able to find the time learn Latin or to knit that woolly jumper.
These are just some of the ways that you can earn a little extra money from taking on some extra work.
