Gaylord Texan Resort is busy preparing for its 17th annual Lone Star Christmas event opening on Friday, November 13, 2020. Overnight resort guests and local day visitors can pre-purchase individual tickets now for the full lineup of Christmas activities including a brand-new marquee pop-up exhibition, “I Love Christmas Movies”, the brand-new 50,000 square foot outdoor holiday lanterns attraction, Yuletide Bright; and the brand-new Build-Your-Own Snowman experience made with REAL snow in addition to Gaylord classic fan-favorite activities including Snow Tubing, Ice Skating, Gingerbread Decorating, Elf on the Shelf Character Breakfast, and more.
Visitors will be enchanted by the resort’s four-and-a-half acres of magically decorated, airy indoor atriums showcasing two million twinkling holiday lights, 15,000 shimmering ornaments, a Polar Express themed miniature train set especially designed by Lionel Trains, strolling entertainers, and a brand-new 52-foot tall towering Christmas tree which features its own light show.
As the safety of its guests and STARS (employees) is of prime importance, Lone Star Christmas has been developed in accordance with Marriott’s “Commitment to Clean” program, and with enhanced protocols and social distancing measures. Programming will also operate in consideration with the latest local, state and federal legislation.
Lone Star Christmas will run November 13th, 2020 – January 3, 2021.
