As a parent, you most likely know the struggle of sourcing, vetting and maintaining good, quality childcare. And when you find it and the awesome person delivering this service, there is nothing like it. Now, what if there was a program that you could train your nannies and babysitters? What if the program gave comprehensive training, filled in the gaps and equipped your provider with the background to improve their skills and create a safer, better prepared and more pleasurable environment for your child and the provider?

Enter the Amslee Institute founded by Elizabeth Malson. As a working single mom whose work required travel, she learned first hand the necessity for quality childcare. These experiences and more spurred on her mission to create a center whose purpose is ‘to elevate the profession of childcare by providing specialized online childcare education taught by college faculty’. Based in the belief that childcare is one of the most important jobs in the world, the Amslee Insititute has crafted a program that aims to provide service providers with the tools and resources to provide excellent care for your family.

Their programs have been certified and licensed by the Department of Education and currently offer on-demand certification and training in a manner that is simple for the parents and potential childcare provider to access and gain immediate value from. In a very cool move, they have partnered with community organizations to offer 2 Nivens Scholarships to their comprehensive training program.
