M Crowd Restaurant Group, the hospitality brand behind local favorites Mi Cocina, The Mercury, Vaqueros Texas Bar-B-Q, and Monkey Bar Highland Park Village soft launched soon-to-be hotspot—Monkey Bar on 9. Debuting on Friday, June 13, the new eatery will be housed on the ninth-story rooftop of the Tru by Hilton Dallas Market Center, near the Anatole.
Nestled above the city with sweeping views of the downtown Dallas skyline, Monkey Bar offers an elevated, approachable retreat with a hidden hotspot vibe. The rooftop venue features a generously appointed spacious outdoor patio and an indoor bar, offering flexible spaces ideal for private corporate events, social gatherings, and casual happy hours.

About the Space:
Designed by Foxcroft Studio, the rooftop is warm and welcoming. With intimate private spaces for conversation, an expansive bar space, moody textures and lush greenery inside and out with design nods to Mexico and the hospitality that Texas is known for, the Monkey Bar on 9th has all the seeds of a winning spot. The elevated style and easy menu fall right in alignment with all the spots that the M Crowd is known for.
What to Expect:
A vibrant spirit, quality service and an excellent cocktail program rooted in authenticity. Expect to find a bar menu that echoes Monkey Bar Highland Park Village with signature margaritas and a solid line of classic cocktails made with cold-pressed juices and fresh ingredients. While the food menu featured a variety of shareable favorites like mini tacos, spicy queso, guacamole and fajita nachos.

When to Visit:
Monkey Bar is open daily for ages 21 and over.
Hours are 4 PM to 10 PM Monday through Thursday and 2 PM to 10 PM Friday through Sunday.
Located at 1949 N. Stemmons Freeway, the venue will attract Dallas Market Center visitors, corporate professionals, hotel guests, and longtime Mi Cocina regulars looking for a new place to unwind with a cocktail and a view.
