We love a spicy treat, and hot honey from the Savannah Bee Company is one of my favorites. We love it on fruit, cookies, tacos, pizza, and on anything by kids can think to squeeze it on. I personally love it in a spicy margarita, and it’s particularly delicious on pineapple with a little Tajin.

The Georgia-based company has become a standby in our household and a favorite among honey lovers. Founded with passion and energy, Savannah Bee Company is the brainchild and enduring passion of Ted Dennard. He started with a love of beekeeping. It led to a vision of saving the bees by sharing the benefits of honey with the world while selling the best honeycomb bee products. After stint in the Peace Corps, he found his honey love again, and the seeds of the Savannah Bee Company had begun.
He found pure magic with bees of Georgia and Tupelo Honey. He knew if people learned about the goodness that resided in honey, there would be no turning back. Since then he and his team have traipsed the planet sourcing pure, rare and decadent honeys.

Hot Honey. It’s on the rise and has been a secret weapon of Southern cooks for generations. SBC’s blend is a delightful combo of heat and sweet with Jamaican Scotch Bonnet and Habanero peppers flavoring a luscious river of Wildflower Honey. It’s decadent and wonderful.
I find that it’s perfect for gifting and adding a bit of delicious to our snack boards as well as our Friday Pizza nights.
