It’s the season for testing, and we just got back from the 2022 Texas Auto Writers Association Texas Auto Roundup that was held this year at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth. The team at Stellantis brought the gorgeous 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Super Stock for journalists to get acquainted with and share the stories of.

The legendary track was the perfect place to get acquainted with the 2022 Dodge Challenger SRT Super Stock. The American muscle car is a perennial favorite with DSMP readers and features 807 pounds of horsepower in a gorgeous, wide-body package.
I took the chance to chat with Dodge Brand Manager and just plain fun person to be around Ashton Munoz about this model, answer your questions and to take a hot lap on the track. You can see that video below. (If you have other questions, DM me, and we’ll have him back to share more.)
About the Vehicle:
Dodge does a great job of celebrating the pleasure of driving — regardless of the price point that you choose in the line-up. The Challenger and Charger lineups hold fast to that rule and are thankfully no different.

Powered by a V8, the model as shown tops out at just over $98k and pulls its weight and heart from the limited-edition 2018 Challenger SRT Demon. The racing specific add-ons add to the effect and deliver a vehicle that is the fastest and most powerful American-made muscle car that Dodge has ever produced.

That being said the multimedia UConnect system with Navigation easily connect to Apple CarPlay, the four seats add a bit of flexibility to the space, and creature comforts like soft leather, easily accessible charging ports and smartly placed air vents let you embrace your daily role as Clark Kent while still feeling like Superman when the need for speed arises.
The cargo space is generous and will hold luggage or your gear with ease so you can float between roles without a problem or need for an additional vehicle. Traction control, blind-spot monitoring, collision avoidance and adaptive cruise control add to the effect and provide a layer of safety tech that drag strip warriors or those that crave that rumbly growl of a powerful engine will be very happy with.

As mentioned before, buyers can choose from a variety of trims and options to create the Challenger of their dreams including the completely customizable Jailbreak. Starting at $30,825 for the Challenger SXT and topping out at $98,326 for the SRT Super Stock.
