I was picking up food at another restaurant when I saw the sign out of the corner of my eye. Located on Highway 26 in Hurst across from Kroger and about ten to fifteen minutes from DFW Airport is Sub Zero Ice Cream and Frozen Yogurt. The franchise originally started in Utah and is catching on everywhere.
Dallas Single Dad said getting ice cream is a great cheap and first date night activity. Especially at a place like this. I agree and for single parents it’s also a great place to take kids.
Using liquid nitrogen (the stuff we breathe in the air) to freeze blast cream the ice cream is made. What I like the most about doing it this way is that you can opt for dairy free (coconut milk), gluten free, vegan and many other options. You can eat it plain or get a variety of mixins with your ice cream. Check out the entire menu of flavors here!
I made a video so you can get the idea of the process.
