I decided to celebrate my birthday in style by joining in as a #GivingTuesday social media ambassador in coordination with TheMotherhood.com to spread the awareness of Giving Tuesday. #GivingTuesday encourages people to share their own giving stories and favorite giving moments or organizations. No one charity is supported — you choose who to support and how, whether it’s a tweet or a donation or much more. I will be co-hosting a #GivingTuesday Twitter Party on Dec. 2 at noon ET.
For my birthday I will be advocating on behalf of Stickman Stew and the Goldheart Crew and their efforts to get toys into the hands of select kids charities. The charity I support on this page is Vogel Alcove.
One of the things I plan on doing via Twitter and Instagram is to post UN-Selfies of my daughter and I with the Goldheart Crew dolls to talk about the mission of #GivingTuesday.
