Setting a luxurious standard for families that desire a beautiful blend of flexibility and award-winning performance, the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid surpasses expectations.

First driven at the 2022 Texas Auto Roundup, the Chrysler Pacifica Hybrid is one of those vehicles that is a field converter. It’s the one that you recommend to all your friends that swear they hate minivans. With a plush interior, over 500 miles of driving range, smooth technology and an abundance of comfort and safety features, this is one to love.

Who Will Love This One?
The obvious answer is families… and bigger ones at that. With seating for seven, removable second row seating and a stow and go third, from a pure flexibility standpoint, the Pacifica Hybrid offers what so many three row vehicles don’t — true space for seven adults, regardless of which row you are seated in.
People with stuff to carry are the next group that will adore this one. DIYers, carpool frequent fliers, random flea market hunters and garage sale scouts will also find this a friend in this one. The hybrid model offers a variety of different (up to 81) seating configurations, making more enough space for you, your people and all the gear.
Features to Note

The only plug-in hybrid on the market right now, the Pacifica Hybrid Pinnacle offers a brilliant mid-way step into the land of electrification. With around 30 miles of pure EV power and an addition 480ish miles of gas-powered power, the drive range is excellent. It lets you explore in quiet, sound-dampened comfort, with confidence and ease as well as become accustomed to regularly charging your vehicle. While towing is not recommended for this model, I found the stow-n-go feature extra helpful for storing the bits and bobbles that come with kids and the open cubby in the center console was perfect for holding my bag and waiting-in-the-parking-lot book in easy reach.
The infotainment system in the Pacifica is one of my favorites. It allows you to connect to Apple CarPlay or Android Auto in seconds. The screen is reasonably sized, easily navigable and intuitively designed. None of the daily functions are hidden within screens and menus in weird places. Fam-cam stops the contortionist moves and lets you see into the rear of the vehicle with the touch of a button, rather than a twist of the body. The combination of features in the UConnect tech suite is refreshingly simple and easy-to-access.

That being said, the Pacifica Pinnacle Hybrid really shines is in the interior. Open the doors, and it makes an impression. Not necessarily subtle, it does convey the message of luxury. Dressed in quilted Napa leather and accessorized with removable second row pillows, this one is a beauty. Easy-to-reach USB-B and C charge points throughout, an abundance of cup holders, soft-close doors, push-button ease, generous leg space and a panoramic sunroof add to the effect of openness and sanctuary on wheels.
At a glance
With destination fees, it comes in just a breath under $50k. Competitively priced into that near-luxury pricing space occupied by other three row vehicles, the 2022 Pacifica Hybrid Pinnacle offers a compelling combination of space and comfort… that is enough to taunt even the die-hard anti-minivan afficionados to come on over and enjoy the fun.
