The 2019 Ford F-150 Supercrew is an efficient, everyday luxury truck that is ready to put in the hard work and do it in style.

First, let’s give thanks where it is due, and thanks to the Ford team for loaning us this truck for the week to review and put through it’s paces.
First impressions, this is a sharp truck. The color on this F-150 is stunning. It’s the Ruby Red, a bright pure red with a metallic tint. It catches the sunlight like a brilliant jewel on Spring day. It’s a stunning contrast to the polished aluminum wheels. The shape has a nod to a vintage era, but it is modern, striking and set up to stand the test of time with its Toughbed Spray-in Liner, Power Sliding rear window and high touch tech system.
I received and adored more random compliments on this truck from my neighbors, strangers in the parking lot, my family members that caught a peek on IG and other motorists. It’s a looker that is ready to put in a hard day’s work — either going to and from events, slow-rolling to the carpool lane or dancing through traffic on the Tollway. This truck can do both with ease, including hauling agave plants or a bed full from a Target run.

Ford F-150 Supercrew Limited
As a driver, I loved the fact that the driver’s seat remembered my settings, voice-activated navigation, the 360-degree camera, active park assist and the size of the LED lit side mirrors. The running board that power deploys is a boon for people like me that are 5’3 on a good day. The 3.5L V6 EcoBoost Engine gives this pickup plenty of get up and go to handle pretty much any challenge that I could throw at it; be it traffic heading up to Frisco or traipsing across rural Dallas County in search of historical markers.

Inside, it is wide, comfy, luxurious without being pretentious, streamlined with wood accents, a deep, locking storage console, a twin panel moonroof that is perfect taking in the Texas sky and plenty of buttery leather reminiscent of beloved Bottega Veneta handbags.
The interior space is generous, even for a truck, with multi-contour, heated and cooling seats with the massage option for the driver and the front passenger. The car seat anchors are easy to locate and thoughtfully placed. The backseat folds up to allow more cargo room on the inside and when down has plenty of leg room for my husky, long-legged 6’4 brother or my bigs and my five year old in a car seat that likes to kick his legs. My kids thought that the FordPass Connect {the built in 4G Wi-Fi} was probably one of the coolest features to be found.

Outfitted as pictured above, this truck is MSRP at $71,150. Standard, the Ford F-150 4×2 Supercrew Limited Series with 145″ Wheelbase, 3.5LV6 Ecoboost is right around $67,000. It averages around 19-20mph, and I found that to be right on the mark. Take a peek and find your local Ford dealership here.
