The team at DSMP are unabashed coffee lovers, and as Back-to-School begins to swing into place. Now is the perfect time to treat yourself or your loved ones to some delicious perk-me-ups. Here are two of our favorites.
Noble Coyote Coffee Roasters

Micro-batch, slow roasting, the Dallas-based favorite custom roasts beans weekly from its Expo Park location near Fair Park and delivers globally. Available in a variety of sizes. I first discovered them at the Farmer’s Market near White Rock Lake. The scent was captivating and drew me in. My personal favorites are the Rise and Grind, a medium blend with notes of buttery toffee and dark stone fruit and the Flor de Campo, which tastes absolutely wonderful with French Toast.

Fire Department Coffee

Strong, flavorful and serving a great cause (actual Fire Fighters and Veterans). The coffees from Fire Department are some of my standbys to serve to guests and to perk me up in the afternoon. Also, they have a gorgeous line of spirit infused blends. The bourbon ones are my favorites to enjoy by the fire pit in the backyard on the evenings when it finally gets cool here in Texas. New to Fire Dept? Snag a bag of the original and treat yourself to one of the Spirit Infused blends. No worries about the alcohol content as it’s full of flavor and no alcohol spike. You can find them here.
