Seasons come and go. This summer has been amazing for you and your family, and it deserves to close out with some amazing and memorable moments. Check out these best activities to end the summer with.

Play a New Game
On these last days of summer, try and play a new game every day. Instead of the standard activities you do with your kids, brainstorm some ideas to get the creative juices flowing. Ask them what characters or new adventures they want to embark on today and try to make those moments happen.
If they’re not excited about starting school, try and incorporate some school subjects into each game. For example, if one of the activities is a treasure hunt, ask them some historical riddles, or have them solve a quick math problem to help them get closer to the prize.
Have a Scavenger Hunt
Treasure hunts are great, but so are scavenger hunts. Make the whole day consist of you traveling farther than the backyard. Nothing screams adventure like an action-packed scavenger hunt. You and your kids will feel like you’re acting out a movie.
Take the adventure to the park or some of their favorite places in town. Also, include their friends in the game so that the highlight of their summer will be the hunt. Plus, you’ll help develop their cognitive and collaborative skills.
Prepare for Fall
Summer may be over soon, but fall has its perks too. Close summer out by getting everyone excited for the next season. Make a trip out of it and hit the road. For example, you can head to Massachusetts to attend some of the most famous fall festivals.
Summer is the perfect time for road trips anyway, and if you can incorporate a little preparation for fall, then you’ve hit the jackpot. Try and hit one of the festivals that start in early September so that there’s still a summer breeze in the air.
Make It a Beach Day
When you think of summer, you picture the beach. After all, every summer break needs a beautiful beach day. If you don’t live near one and you have to travel, your trip will require a little more preparation.
Watch the weather and try and choose the sunniest day. Pack some snacks, a cooler, water gear, beach toys, and a volleyball. Spending time at the beach is exciting, but having a few gadgets to make the day more special won’t hurt.
Also, document the day properly. Use the camera on your phone or bring a polaroid camera. They are more nostalgic, and you might want to start scrapbooking.
Aside from the holiday season, summer is the best time to make family memories. Incorporate some of these fun activities to end the summer the right way.
