Advice from the Trenches: When you see the beauty and the gifts around you, the world looks brighter.
Single parenting and co-parenting are experiences that naturally come with their own unique set of successes and challenges. Few things can grow you into an adult like learning to co-parent and committing to raising up good humans. Learning to count your successes, practicing being in the now (rather than yesterday or tomorrow), seeing the small miracles and acknowledging the big ones all help you to see that all of Creation is on your side.
This week’s challenge is to “See the Beauty” and then share it.
The great thing about beauty is that it is a gift that multiplies upon itself. Often times, it is free to give and free to experience as it simply is. It can be a sensory experience or something simply witnessed. It also feeds the world in a way that nothing else quite can — and really no one else can do it quite like you. It also dominos into the rest of your day and into the people that you encounter. Remember that a good mood, vision and insight is contagious.
So let’s get after it!
