In a bid to become the leading electrified SUV powerhouse in the world, Stellantis, by way of Jeep® brand, today announced new offers that will arrive in the North American and European markets by 2025. Enter the Jeep Recon and Wagoneer S in addition to the Europe only, Jeep Avenger.
Expanding on the enthusiastic reception of the plug-in hybrid Jeep Wrangler 4xe and the Grand Cherokee 4xe, Jeep is in the midst of creating a full line-up of electric SUVs to expand further into the North American hybrid-ev space with vehicles that live up to the any-terrain capability that Jeep is known for.

The Jeep Recon
“The all-new, all-electric Jeep Recon has the capability to cross the mighty Rubicon Trail, one of the most challenging off-road trails in the U.S. and reach the end of the trail with enough range to drive back to town and recharge,” said Meunier
Fully electric cousin of the Jeep Wrangler, the Jeep Recon will hit US markets late 2024. Designed to handle off-road and on in a manner benefiting the Jeep emblem, the zero emission of offer will be solely offered as a BEV, and it will enhance off-roading adventures with the Jeep Selec-Terrain traction management system, e-locker axle technology, under-body protection, tow hooks and gorgeously capable off-road tires. It will also carry the familiar one-with-nature flexibility with one-touch power top and easily removable glass and doors.
Wagoneer S
Think premium American luxury but make it Jeep and fully electric. Reservations will open in early 2023 with production dates to begin early 2024. Wagoneer S will be only offered as a BEV and will continue build on the presence in the premium SUV segment by offering a distinctive aerodynamic design and rockstar 4×4 capability standard across all trims with push button all-terrain management and consistently stellar performance.
The team at Wagoneer says that all-electric Wagoneer S is targeting a range of 400 miles on a single charge, 600 hp and a 0-60 mph time of around 3.5 seconds. “We’ll delight our customers with a premium, highly efficient SUV that is loaded with technology and high quality craftmanship, offering 4×4 capability, high performance, rapid acceleration and a target range of 400 miles on a single charge,” added Meunier
