Sometimes I am just amazed at how many people I know have never tried Apple flavored soda. When I tried Manzanita Sol years ago I was surprised at how good it was and how great it is mixed as a sherbert float or soda float. It gives off a crisp taste without being too sweet. This past weekend we traveled to Taco Bell after buying video games as our favorite Tex Mex fast food is right next door to the video game store. Checking out video games can get you very hungry so I was glad to see Manzanita Sol at the drink dispenser in the store along with Taco Bell’s awesome Big Boxes. The Big Box is the easiest way to feed the family instead of trying to pick and choose something for everyone.

On this particular day we got the Taco Bell Quesarito Big Box and of course a medium Manzanita Sol. My daughter had never tried it before and she did two new things that day – she tried Manzanita Sol AND she tried the spicy sauce on her taco. I thought she wouldn’t be able to handle the spice but she must take after me because she had no problems.

I rarely let her try soda so it was a treat for her to try Manzanita Sol and it’s different from other sodas that she is used to. It’s actually less sweet than she thought and we love seeing this as an option in Taco Bell.
