For the purposes of the test, Defender brought up to one of America’s most majestic and dynamic terrains. The vehicle performed beautifully and with grace and grit. It was my first time activating the Defender OCTA’s advanced 6D Dynamics suspension system and the ride was composed ride and granted me a calming and reassuring level of control. The cutting-edge technology actively manages pitch, roll, stabilization and vertical movement, adapting to changing terrain in real-time and with minimal input from the driver. Enhanced chassis components and adaptive dampers mean you can tackle rocky paths with confidence and glide effortlessly up and down the mountain with ease. I found that regardless of whether we were scaling steep inclines or navigating tight, gravel laden turns, this system is one of the best I’ve ever used and the ride was comfortable to boot.

Wearing the bold OCTA badging and refined shape that Defender is known for, OCTA makes a statement. This edition has a raised ride height and wider stance to command a vibe of confidence and capability. Extended wheel arches, trim-specific bumpers, and reinforced underbody protection not only look sharp but provide reinforced underbody support.
