I am a big astrology follower thanks to the writings of Dr. Loretta Standley. Beginning this weekend there was a new moon in Leo coupled with Jupiter conjunct the sun in Leo. For me think of the planets involved. A new moon is your emotions and you always start something new under a new moon. Couple that with Jupiter and the Sun both in the sign of Leo and you can begin to see that this is Herculean type of energy. Jupiter stands for exploring ideas intellectually and spiritually and the Sun is about ourselves, our ego and our ability to face challenges. The sign of Leo is about so many things such as romance, passion, children, procreation, fun, sports, gambling, theater, movies, income from property and all sorts of things. The sun is our identity and what our face is to the world. Now another planetary aspect that happened this weekend is Mars in Scorpio. Mars is the planet of action, drive and aggression. It’s our proactive life and what motivates us to act. That which causes us to make choices and push forward. Scorpio is about intensity and with Mars in Scorpio the outcome is an increase in hard work, self-determination, and being results oriented. With this energy we know what we want and we are willing to work hard to get what we want. This is a time for action and to shed the fears, phobias, and indecisiveness that has plagued you. I absolutely love this song The Takedown by Girl on Fire  for the energy it puts out on a Monday morning. Before I go to church I listen to heavy metal and hard rock. While this song is more of alternative rock it’s very powerful and motivating like the Mars in Scorpio energy that I love to embrace. I love Mars in Scorpio lovers. The only person with more sex drive than a Mars in Scorpio is a Mars in Sagittarius like me. 😉 For me this song tells me not to give up and keep on going.
