Popular Streamer Adin Ross Buys the Iconic ‘Breaking Bad’ House and Reveals His Big Plans

Fans of the legendary crime drama ‘Breaking Bad’ have plenty of reasons to be excited, as popular streamer Adin Ross has announced that he successfully purchased the iconic house featured in the show. Ross made the revelation during a live broadcast on Kick, where he told his followers, “I bought the Breaking Bad house.” The property, located at 3828 Piermont Drive in Albuquerque, New Mexico, became a piece of television history when creator Vince Gilligan used it as the family home of Walter White back in 2008. The 25-year-old streamer, who built his following on platforms like Twitch and Kick, appears determined to do something truly special with the landmark property.

According to TMZ, Ross was one of 20 legitimate bidders who submitted offers for the home, with the deal expected to close by the end of February 2026. The house had its asking price dramatically reduced from $4 million down to $400,000 before it attracted serious interest from buyers. Ross confirmed during his livestream that his bid was accepted, saying, “I won the bid… I’m deadass gonna remake it exactly like Breaking Bad. My dad was hyped.” The final sale price has not been publicly disclosed yet.

The Quintana family, who actually lived in the home throughout the show’s run and long after it ended in 2013, made the decision to sell and relocate in January 2025. Living in one of the most recognizable houses on television proved to be an exhausting experience, with dedicated fans repeatedly traveling to Albuquerque just to see the property in person. The constant attention even led to the bizarre phenomenon of fans throwing pizzas onto the roof to recreate a famous scene from the show, which ultimately forced the family to erect a large fence around the property. After years of unwanted intrusions, the Quintanas simply decided it was time to move on.

Ross has been very open about what he intends to do with the purchase, describing an ambitious renovation project. He wrote on X, “I bought the Breaking Bad house, I will do everything in my power to make fans happy.” He added, “I will put 100% into this project, make the Breaking Bad house 1:1, exactly as you see it in the show. Follow along because I want everyone to be part of the journey.” The project will be no small undertaking, given that the interior scenes of ‘Breaking Bad’ were actually filmed on a production studio set and do not match the real house’s layout, something many fans on Reddit have pointed out over the years. If Ross also hopes to turn the property into a museum, he will face additional hurdles, as residential zoning laws in New Mexico would likely prevent that kind of commercial conversion.

‘Breaking Bad’ originally aired on AMC from January 2008 to September 2013, spanning five seasons and 62 episodes. The show was created by Vince Gilligan and starred Bryan Cranston as Walter White, a high school chemistry teacher turned methamphetamine manufacturer. It is widely considered one of the greatest television dramas ever made, winning 16 Primetime Emmy Awards throughout its run. The series spawned a successful spin-off prequel called ‘Better Call Saul’, which ran from 2015 to 2022 and followed the story of lawyer Jimmy McGill. Albuquerque, New Mexico, became so closely associated with the show that the city now draws thousands of ‘Breaking Bad’ tourism-driven visitors every year, making properties like the White family home a significant part of local pop culture geography.
