Driving the good is one of our favorite topics here, and Acura has stepped up to the plate. Acura is providing 75 of its all-electric ZDX performance SUVs to The Nature Conservancy to help advance their critical conservation work. The donation will also support The Nature Conservancy’s goal to transitioning to a cleaner, lower-emission fleet.
About the Donation:

While the two brands have shared a long-standing collaboration, this is largest-ever vehicle donation by Acura and stands as a strong testament to rooted in shared environmental values.
“We’re proud to partner with The Nature Conservancy and Acura dealers across America to help advance sustainability by contributing to a lower-emissions future,” said Mike Langel, assistant vice president of Acura National Sales. “The Acura ZDX fleet will support The Nature Conservancy’s important fieldwork, enabling more efficient travel to conservation sites while reducing the environmental impact of transportation.”
Building Infrastructure and Establishing a Framework

As a member of the American Honda family, Acura is contributing $1 million to support the charging infrastructure and operation of the Acura ZDX fleet. The action of supporting the all-electric, minimal emission fleet reinforces the brand’s commitment to the success of this initiative and the overarching goal of protecting the planet. Not just in California, the 75 Acura ZDX electric vehicles will be dispersed through Acura dealer network nationwide to support The Nature Conservancy Teams across the country. They will serve as support vehicles as they conduct fieldwork, connect with local communities and undertake conservation in remote and rural areas of America.
“We are incredibly grateful to Acura for this donation,” said Daniel Salzer, Director of Sustainability for The Nature Conservancy. “The donation of these vehicles has significantly accelerated our efforts to electrify our fleet, reducing our carbon footprint, and setting a powerful example of climate leadership.”
