Based on the classic novel, the brand-new musical The Outsiders has already been a smashing success with a heart of gold. Anyone who has ever felt like an outsider has a place alongside Ponyboy and his crew. See this heartfelt tale at the Music Hall at Fair Park from November 4th through 16th.

What is The Outsiders?
A classic school book, The Outsiders, written in 1967 by S.E. Hinton, still conveys a powerful message about family, friendship, and hope that has been brought to a new generation by this new musical. We follow Ponyboy in Tulsa, 1967, as he navigates through the messy and violent world of the working-class Greasers and the upper-middle-class Socs. As he cements himself with the Greasers after getting jumped, he learns he may have bitten off more than he could chew. The music has a folk-rock feel that can vary from somber to sincere to pulse-pounding. It pulls the audience further into the gritty world these boys find themselves in.
